Estate of W6RFD, William
Harriman
Donated by his son, Chris
RETURN TO MAIN PAGE
This equipment is from a Silent Key, William Harriman. His
son Chris donated it to the MVRC. At this point I have no idea if any of
it works but I'm assuming it does. Most of it is dusty and needs cleaning.
I just unloaded this stuff from my pickup, documented and pictured it and
carried it down in my basement. I have more of a description below each
picture. The club needs to meet and decide what to do with this equipment.
It would be nice if we could find a meeting place that would let
us set this up for use by club members then we can build on it over time.
| I think this is a Collins 390-type military receiver. There is nothing on it that I can find that indicates it's a 390. I don't know very much about these other than they are a collectors item and they are HEAVY! Some of you who are more familiar with these can probably help me out. The cabinet has rust areas and is in need of restoring. | This is a Yaesu FT-221 all mode 2 meter
transceiver. Looks in good condition. Little dusty. |

| Drake 2B receiver in fair condition:Ameco preamp; Heathkit (modified) tube tester, Yaesu FT-221...same on as above. | |
| Other items not pictured include a Dovetron Multi-path Diversity RTTY terminal; Ringo Ranger antenna in need of repair;2 meter mag-mount 5/8 wave whip in bad shape;another Ameco Preamp and various other items. There are several books included. I will document and list them soon. | |
